The Application Of High Pressure And Efficient Gas-liquid Separator

The main content of this paper is about the application of high pressure horizontal gravitygas-liquid separator. By comparing the operating principle and structure of various gas-liquidseparators which have been used mostly in the past, this paper analyzed the advantages anddisadvantages of various forms of separators. As the poor effection of present gas-liquidseparation tank of the Sinopec Luoyang petrochemical Co. Ltd. gas recovery system, weanalyzed the possible factors with abundance of availabe information,and the improvementmeasures are put forward.Considering the character and properties of gravity separator, we select the horizontalgravity gas-liquid separator model to design an efficient gas-liquid separator. First of all, wedesigned the routine parameters of gravity type gas-liquid separator including the diameter,length.Then the design and type-selection of the guide plate, wire mesh demister and a baffleelement was decided. At last we combined the gas-liquid separator with the efficientseparation components, and then check the strength of the design data, so as to increase theseparation efficiency of the gravity gas-liquid separator by adjusting the separatorprocess,which should be beneficial to eliminate potential safety hazard, protect theenvironment and reduce the production cost.
