According to the domestic pump industry report on pump technology and development situation, our pump is too far behind the foreign enterprises in design, development ability and speed, process technology, production equipment etc.[1]In order to meet the requirements of new drilling technology, in line with the trend of low strokes per minute, long stroke, high power, large displacement and high pump pressure, in the poor and complex field working conditions, drilling pump’s high reliability, safety and long service life appear particularly important, and mud pump manufacturing technology directly affect its service life and reliability. At present, in case of high power, high pressure work condition, P-2200high pressure mud pump is the preference of the oil field, just because of its long stroke, high power, large displacement and high working pressure. Accordingly, it is a big challenge for pump manufacturer to improve the pump performance, reliability, manufacturing technology.Currently, more and more problems of mud pump occurs in the process of oil drilling operations, for example, mud pump valve seat early failed, eccentric wear between liner and piston, the cylinder is pierced by the leaking high pressure mud. Any one of them may force the mud pump stopping and lead to shutdown losses and risk losses. Furthermore, aligning the pump stroke in assemble still is a difficulty; the serious scratch in the test-run before delivery to guide or crosshead damage the guide and crosshead, and leads to the main bearing fevering, delay the delivery.Aiming at the abovementioned, in the production of P-2200mud pump, should the technology analysis be applied in main parts manufacturing processes (such as housing, forged crankshaft, bull gear, gear shaft) and assembly processes of unitized mud pump, eliminating those drawbacks easy occurring in the traditional manufacturing is possible. In addition, considering of optimization of quality and cost, it is imperative to optimize the manufacturing process of P-2200high pressure mud pump combining with our actual production capacity, and to ultimately solve the pump quality problem, as well to improve the pump service life, reliability and security.
