The key of production in mine is to protect safety of miners and mine vehicles.Butunderground environment is complex with cross geological structure,arranged tunnels.Sowireless sensor networks of low cost,small volume,flexible deployment applies in it.Theimportance of establishing a wireless sensor network in underground mine is how todeploy these sensor nodes.Differ with the other application,tradition nodes coverage modelis not suitable in underground mine.So how to find a new coverage model to deploy sensornodes and how to manage there kinds of nodes is much important for safety production inundergroundmine.First, this paper analyzes the required narrow specific physical environment inunderground mine and take advantage of this feature to ensure that flexible deploymentdistance between adjacent nodes, independent of fixed roadway width, greatly reducingthe mount of sensor nodes for completely coverage and network redundancy, therebyreducing the costs and expenses of the network. Combined with the electromagneticenvironment to select most suitable sensor nodes perceptual model and the wireless signalpropagation loss model for this environment. Finally use mathematical geometry to putout a node coverage model based on an isosceles triangle.Simulation proved,model candecrease the mount of sensor nodes and reduce node redundancy. Secondly, to meet needsof information collected in multiple environments and assurance of coverage quality,based on an isosceles triangle node overlay model, using an aliquot of alternating sleepcoverage strategies. Sink nodes in main tunnels initiates the sub roadway sensor nodessleep schedule to keep a variety of different types of sensors seamlessly switch betweennodes covering, so as to achieve synergy heterogeneous wireless sensor networkscoverage and monitor environmental independently. Through analysis, the network delayof their work less than regular coverage algorithms and get better performance, practicalapplication.Under three times coverage of mine tunnel, compared with polygon node coveragemodel, isosceles triangle node coverage model has a lower node redundancy which is40.03%,but square node coverage model’s77.78%,hexagon node coverage model’s89.7%。Compared with fully synchronized schedule coverage algorithm and normalstaggered sleep schedule coverage algorithm, Aliquots staggered node sleep schedulecoveragealgorithmhasa lowernetworkdelay.
