Rolling mill hydraulic servo-cylinder is one of the most important components inthe plate and strip production lines,it affects the quality of the strip directly,and theclosed-type load frame played a crucial role in the performance test of the rolling millhydraulic servo-cylinder.The closed-type load frame should has sufficient strength andreasonable rigidity when the mill servo-cylinder testing on it,and it should haveminimum mass to reduce cost if only the frame satisfy the strength and stiffnessRequirement.For the shortage of cylinder piston displacement measuring method in thedynamic testing system of rolling mill servo-cylinder,This paper puts forward themethod of strain displacement transformation method which acquiring the pistondisplacement though transform the key points’strain on the frame indirectly,and the BPneural network is used to promote the scope of application and improve conversionaccuracy.First of all,creating the frame parts’model and assembling them together,the stressdistribution under the max load is obtained in the static analysis of the frame and thenatural frequency and the modal is obtained in the modal analysis.Finite-elementmethod is used for static and modal analysis, get the frame stress and strain distributionand each order natural frequency and vibration mode.Optimize the main frame design,reduce the quality of the main frame under the request of the stiffness and strength.Secondly,for the shortage of cylinder piston displacement measuring method,straindisplacement transformation is used that getting the displacement of piston bymeasuring the strains of the key points on the frame indirectly.Experimental scheme isformulated and Control program is write to verify this method.Finally,for the shortage of linear strain displacement transformation,the BP neuralnetwork is used.BP neural network’s using not only spread the rang of application butalso improve the accuracy of the inverting displacement.
