The closed-type load frame is a part of important component of the AGC rolling mill hydraulic servo-cylinder testing system. The frame is used to load and assemble the hydraulic servo-cylinder as well as some other component. The frame is supposed to have sufficient intensity and rigidity, and make no effect to the testing result in the dynamic test of the rolling mill hydraulic servo-cylinder testing. Therefore, the load frame is analyzed base on finite-element method in this paper. After the model of the closed-type frame is built, the stress distribution and the strain distribution of the frame are obtained in the static performance research on the frame through the software ANSYS. The effect of the frame in the dynamic test of the testing system is obtained in the dynamic performance research.Firstly, the geometric model is built base on the actual size as well as the material characteristics through the software SolidWorks and ANSYS, and then the finite-element model is generated. The edge-restraint condition is defined according to the load on the frame.Secondly, the stress distribution under the max load is obtained in the static analysis of the frame through ANSYS, the value and the position of the max stress are ascertained; the deformation in all directions of the frame is also obtained, the entire rigidity in longitudinal direction of the frame is ascertained.Finally, the frame is analyzed in dynamic type, including the modal analysis, harmonic analysis and transient, base on the test items of testing system. The natural frequency and the mode shapes are obtained in the modal analysis ,so as to eliminate the possibility of the resonance vibration of the frame; the frequency response characteristic of the frame is obtained, so as to ascertained the effect of the frame in the system in the frequency response test; the step response characteristic and the reciprocating deformation characteristic of the frame are obtained, so as to ascertained the effect of the system from the frame in the step response test and the dynamic friction test.The closed-type load frame in the rolling mill hydraulic servo-cylinder testing system is deeply analyzed and emulated in this paper, the static performance and the dynamic performance are obtained, so as to provide a basis to the reliability analysis of the static performance together with the dynamic performance result of the rolling mill hydraulic servo-cylinder testing system.
