Study On Comprehensive Evaluation Of EDM Process For Green Manufacturing

With the rapid development of science, China’s manufacturing industry has gotrapid development, at the same time, environmental protection, resource consumption isincreasingly become the era theme. The electrical discharge machining (EDM) as a kindof a chipless machining, machining process variation in resource and environmentalproblems. Therefore, how to reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution isa key problem restricts the sustainable development of manufacturing industry in ourcountry.Based on the national863high-tech development plan of "green manufacturingbasic standard and application of mechanical and electronic products" and wuhanuniversity of science and technology of metallurgical equipment and its control of theministry of education key laboratory open fund as the backing, in EDM process as theresearch object, using the green manufacturing (GM), resources and environment, suchas discipline theory, through the establishment of the comprehensive evaluation model ofelectrical discharge machining process, and combined with the corresponding calculationsoftware, solve the index weight and sorted, and find out the most to improve indicators,realize the EDM process green on the whole. Specific content is as follows:(1) Introduced the electric spark machining technology in our country, based on thecharacteristics of edm technology, combined with the expert opinion and actual edmprocess, establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system of electrical dischargemachining process;(2) Put forward a comprehensive evaluation method is suitable for the edm process-DEMATEL-ANP method, the mixed weight is obtained by the combination of the twomethods for sorting, find out the sort of the corresponding evaluation index, for electricaldischarge machining technology provides a theoretical basis for comprehensiveevaluation.(3) By using SD software, weight calculation, makes a convenient calculation, anddraw index between cause and effect diagram, make the results more intuitive and clear.
