The deep hole is widely used in mechanical manufacturing industry, whose function isirreplaceable. But owing to the special processing equipment and technology of the deep hole,the characteristics of the closed machining environment and the high length-to-diameter ratiocause the problems those are the difficult chip removal, the unobservable directly cuttingcondition and the low processing system stiffness. In order to ensure machining quality andavoid clogging, the processing efficiency has to be reduced.Aiming at these problems, based on the previous work, for the purpose of improving theprocessing efficiency, steadying machining processing, ensuring the machining quality, thesuction chip removal performance is analyzed theoretically, the structure of DF systemoptimized and the function is perfected. First of all, combined with the theory of fluidmechanics, the mathematical model on structure parameters of DF system with chip suckingeffect is established, and the variations of efficiency versus the parameters are obtained,which is the performance increases with jet clearance inclination angle decreasing, and theone first rises to the highest value and then decreases gradually with the jet clearance widthand the back chip removal channel diameter increasing. Secondly, the simulation tests fornegative pressure suction process by Fluent, found that the energy loss caused by jet clearanceis minimum when the shape changes from linear to conical and the shape parameters10andl/D21. At the same time, the ranges of each structure parameters are determined toreach the best suction chip removal performance, Based on the simulation, the significantlevel with the order of the suction chip removal effect influenced is obtained and the optimalparameter combination is selected by the orthogonal test. Finally, according to the conclusionsabove and design related theories, such as monitoring of cutting process, metal-cuttingmachine tool and mechanical seal, based on the existing DF system, the design on the rotating DF drilling system integrating online monitoring is done, which contains the structureoptimization of the sub-atmospheric pumping scraps device and the added functions of onlinemonitoring and power transmission.
