Quaternary ammonium compounds (Quaternary ammonium compounds, referred toQACs) is a primary cationic surfactant and important industrial chemicals part. Quaternaryammonium salt have some characteristics,such as surface activation, odorless, detergents,stability, sterilization and so on, the study selection of low cost, high efficiency and nosecondary pollution microbiological method to process it.According to the QACs production wastewater with the characteristics of high complexcomposition, high CODcrvalue, high toxicity, difficult degradation and large emissions, theresearch selects the QACs production wastewater as the fist bacterial source of enrichmentculture and domestication; And at the same time, considering microbes in the soil is rich, theselection of Fenhe River′s soil contaminated by QACs production wastewater as the secondbacterial source of enrichment culture and domestication. By the method of graduallyincreasing proportion of QACs production wastewater in medium domestication, screened2strains bacteria with strong tolerance to QACs production wastewater;the experiment is usingthe2strains bacteria to treat the QACs production wastewater, screening one aerobic strainFS-1is got from the QACs production wastewater with ideal treatment effect on QACsproduction wastewater. By examining the wastewater CODcrremoval rate to determine theoptimum culture conditions for the bacteria FS-1are: carbon source is glucose, peptone as thenitrogen source, the culture temperature is32℃, the culture medium pH value of about7(neutralor acidic conditions), culture time is22h (the bacteria is belong to the logarithmic growthphase in culture medium);The primary and secondary order of the factors affecting theeffectiveness of wastewater CODcrtreatment are: the culture temperature>the culture time> theculture medium pH value; Considering the treatment effect and the actual operation problemsdetermined the optimum treatment conditions are: the bacterium liquid dosage is30mL/100ml, process temperature is24℃, the degradation time is18h (the bacteria is belong to thelogarithmic growth phase in the wastewater), initial pH value of wastewater is about10(thevalue is QACs production wastewater′s original pH value), The primary and secondaryorder of the factors affecting the effectiveness of wastewater CODcrtreatment are: thebacterium liquid dosage> the degradation time> process temperature> initial pH value ofwastewater; As The optimum culture conditions and processing conditions for a processingperiod, to100ml waste water which re adding bacteria liquid, after three treatment cycles,the CODcrof wastewater by37200mg/L down to4400mg/L, the removal rate of88.18%;after four treatment cycles, the CODcrof wastewater by4400mg/L up to6800mg/L, theremoval rate of81.72%,Finally the optimal processing cycle of the bacteria is three cycles.By observation colony morphology, Gram staining experiment, contact enzymeexperimental identification FS-1is belong to the genus Pseudomonas. The bacteria secrete alot of blue and green mucus shape material during the course of cultivation, and the formationof the mucus layer of bacteria, at the same time, produce hydrogen peroxide enzyme.The degradation mechanism of bacteria FS-1treatment QACs production wastewater are:Microbes by decomposition, synthesis effect degraded the organic matter in wastewater; theuse of microbial slime layer to adsorption organic or inorganic from wastewater,microorganism by flocculation effect degraded waste water; the catalase producing in bacteriaFS-1cells,and using hydrogen peroxide, the organic matter in the wastewater is broken downinto small molecular organic or completely oxidized into CO2and H2O.bacteria treatment the wastewater having the characteristics is: no need for dilution ofwastewater and adding carbon source and nitrogen source, inorganic salts and other nutrients,bacteria culture cycle and strain processing wastewater wastewater treatment period is short,treat wastewater is fast,the effect is remarkable; strain FS-1treatment for QACs wastewatertreatment at low cost, cost budget is261.6yuan/T.Through this experimental study, the use of dominant bacteria treating QACs wastewaterto obtain better treatment effect, at the same time as in actual production application of microbial method treating QACs wastewater provides certain theory and practical foundation.
