At present, the study of a-pinene and its modified products has been a hot issue to research and application on Biomass Resources Chemistry.Terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin was synthesized by addition reaction, esterification and free radical polymerization using a-pinene as raw material, and the characterization and adsorption performance of terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin is studied. The main contents are shown as follows:1.α-Pinene was turned into a-terpinene with phosphomolybdic acid. Then glycol terpene maleic acrylic ester pre-polymer was synthesized by addition and two-step esterification reaction, and the synthesis conditions were optimized. The obtained pre-polymer were characterized by FT-IR, LC-MS and GPC.2.Terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin were synthesized with methacrylic acid as functional monomer and glycol terpene maleic acrylic ester as cross-linker by the suspension polymerization, which has not been reported. Its pore structure was influenced by porogen and the molecular skeleton. The pore structure and properties was measured by thermal analyzer, and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that, the specific surface area of terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin was3.15m2/g, pore volume was0.0179cm3/g, average pore diameter was25.4nm. The decomposition temperature of terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin was above400℃. It can be seen the resin has a large number of cavities by SEM.3.The adsorption of glycol terpene maleic acrylic ester-methyl acrylic, ethylene glycol maleic rosinate acrylate diester-methyl acrylic and ethylene glycol maleic rosin acrylic three ester-methyl acrylic towards phenol, tetramethylpyrazine hydrochloride, berberine, tetrahydropalmatine rue leaf glycosides was determined by static binding assay, respectively.4.The statical adsorption behavior of the terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin for tetrahydropalmatine were studied. The results showed that, the adsorption of tetrahydropalmatine reaches a equilibrium after4.5h. The adsorption process was a slow process. It was in coincidence with the second-order kinetics equation and affected both by film diffusion and intra-particle diffusion. The adsorption could be fitted to Langmuir-type of isotherm equation. The adsorption capacity of tetrahydropalmatine onto terpene-based macroporous adsorption resin was139.25mg/g, and the whole adsorption process was an exothermic reaction.
