Research On Emotional Embodiment In Modern Fashion Design

Since the costume design appeared, designer has had various of points in the differenthistorical period. Design aesthetics has experienced five stages, and in post-industrial eratoday, Humanity regression, multivariate, organic, emotion become the modern designtheme.In such a background, costume design has shown a strong emotional expression anddemand. Just as a normal people, designers are all have the most basic human emotionelements——conscious and subconscious. Under the action of consciousness andsubconsciousness, costume design produced two kinds of expression way——purposeand unconsciousness.Designers show their clothing design in different emotions with different designlanguage. At consciousness level, designer has the purpose of emotion, it is to meet as a"person" and to satisfy the wearer’s properties；At the subconscious level, designer expressthe unconscious emotion, it is to express his own experience in the designing of clothing,he caused wearer’s emotional resonance by unconscious way.In the purpose of fashion design, fashion designer express the spirit in clothingthrough two ways——gregarious and enlightenment. In current social environment,designer express fashion design of emotion by era and region. In the fashion design to thesocial environment, under the inspiration of designer aims at in the context of aestheticfashion design inspiration and reflection of social environment, for the future and putsforward the important trend of environmental protection. In the unconscious of the fashiondesign, designer express fashion design through the bodies, senses, subconsciousness.This article will use conscious fashion design and subconscious fashion design as abreakthrough point, describing different emotional performance in clothing design throughthe way of theoretical analysis, in the hope of case analysis can provide valued sample andmeaningful reference for the current clothing design.
