Comprehensive raw material yard is the most basic and the most important of factories in the steel, It’s direction of iron and steel plant raw material preparation that the complete functions and advanced technology of integrated material plant is necessary. It’s guideline that Given full play to the modern field of raw material is guiding principle. The domestic and foreign large-scale iron and steel companies own large blending and piling raw material plant, whose technology is mature at raw material storage, mixing, transportation. It’s important for improving the sintering, iron making, steel making subsequent economic benefit, which is very worth in a certain scale steel extension.Analyses Angang Bajiazi Raw Material Yard’s current situation and problems, and then, introduces its specific way of reform, including design process flow, facilities involved, and the scale and effect of the reform.Main equipment involved in a raw material yard is analyzed in detail in this paper. Discuss transmission capacity of wheelbucket stacktaking machine in different forms and different control modes, and confirm main parameters the selection method of wheelbucket stacktaking machine. In addition, we make a research and discusses to long distance belt conveyer. Especially for the design method of curve segment unloading car, this paper makes an in-depth research. Due to the limitations of yard belt conveyor tripper itself, the design of concave arc curve segment cannot adopt the curve segment design method of universal belt conveyors. According to the analysis, when the tripper was designed to only one concave arc, there is a defect that the curve segment is relatively short when the tripper works under full load condition. In this paper, a new design method which has3section curves in the tripper is proposed. Through the analyses of deformation and transient dynamics, it demonstrates the advantages of using3section curves. Further, the design constraints and the specific design steps of the curve are also proposed.Finally, according to economy evaluation to the raw material yard transformed,the conclusion shows that the transform raw material yard is beneficial to reducing the iron ore powder loss, reducing the sintering fuel consumption, and improving stability rate of sinter rank. Sensitivity analysis shows that this project owes strong ability to resist risks.
