With many years of mining, easy exploitation of shallow coal resources reducingincreasingly, people began to turn to the deep mining of coal resources, coal mine softrock problem gradually become one of the major difficult problem in coal mineproduction and construction. The problem of soft rock roadway, high support cost, theroadway deformation sharply, seriously restricting the mining of high yield, highefficiency, low consumption level and the safety in production. Especially in largesection soft rock roadway in broken roof, has always been a pioneering engineeringdifficulty, the span, the natural caving arch high, fragmentation circle range is large, thebroken layer contact area, poor rock stability, the driving speed is slow, the safetycoefficient of construction. Therefore, to explore the surrounding rock of large crosssection soft rock roadway of scientific and reasonable broken roof deformation controlmechanism, safe and reliable supporting method, to determine the economic supportparameters and construction technology of practical and reliable has become a urgentproblem need a further test and Study on it.Taking Xishan Coal Electricity Group Tunlan coal mine12501working face belttrough lane as the research object, the research method of the field measurement, similarsimulation experiment, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis of the combination.Through the research and analysis of field data collection, the deformation law of roofof large section roadway soft rock are summarized classification, by mechanicstheoretical analysis, similar simulation experiment, local enlargement or reductionexperiment, combining different soft strata combination, simulation support different,study on the relationship between support and surrounding rock deformation; selectionthe experimental site implementation of large section soft rock roadway surroundingrock deformation control of broken roof support, according to the supporting effect andthe measured data, modify the roof breakage mechanism, and put forward a morescientific system of the supporting structure.The main conclusion as following:(1) The research proposed a classification method of Tunlan Mine coal seam roofstability of roadway surrounding rock, combined with the structure and field geological data, determine the roof stability classification of mining area in southern region,mainly divided into4types of roof, and the regional division and simple supportsuggestions;(2) This article obtained the roadway deformation law of surrounding rock, throughthe Tunlan coal mine12501working face roof and two side belt to deep displacement,surface displacement monitoring;(3) With the FLAC numerical simulation experiment, determined according to thetype of roof to determine the different support scheme supporting effect and supportingscheme selection principle, through the simulation experiment, determine the roof formof the instability and failure law;(4) Combined with the specific situation in Tunlan coal mine, this article putsforward the Tunlan coal mine roof of roadway support parameter design method, todetermine the different roof conditions, under different support form the supportingparameters.
