Based On Moldflow Injection Molding And The Optimization Design

It mainly depends on the experience of the designer that the design of traditional injectmold.And the quality of the mould often can be known just at the time of test.To meet thedesign requirement,a set of mold usually need try and repair many times.The use of CAEtechnology in the field of injection mold helps to improve the efficiency of mould design,reduce the mould manufacturing cost and direct the settings of injection molding processparameter.The use of Moldflow in this study as follows:1、Mold optimization designUsing Moldflow mould flow analysis to optimize the casting system and temperaturecontrol system of a set of mould, found that after optimization of distributary channel and thegate size are conform to the requirements of the empirical formula, the layout of thetemperature control system has a great influence on its temperature control effect.2、Injection molding process optimizationFor warping quantity indicators, using Moldflow software combined with orthogonaltest to optimize the injection molding process based on a set of mould and injection moldingmachine, found that the influence on the plastic parts warp distortion from big to small order:mold wall temperature, injection time, temperature of melting.Compare before and after theprocess optimization of products, CAE technology in reality there are strong guidingsignificance to optimize the injection molding process.In conclusion,the use of the CAE analysis can improve the efficiency of mould design,optimize the design of the mold, direct injection molding process parameter settings,effectively improve the quality of mould, reduce the cost for mould manufacturing.Itsapplication promotes to adapt themselves to the development of The Times, contributes to therapid development in the field of injection mold.At the same time, the problems in theapplication of CAE are discussed in this paper.
