Sichuan petrochemical company in petrochemical industrial park of Longfengtown,Pengzhou city,Sichuan province. There have been a existing gas pipeline of the southwestoil and gas field company, the gas transmission capacity far cannot meet the demand of Sichuanpetrochemical company. At the same time, the western region of Chengdu including Foxconnlocated in the end of the gas pipe network, gas delivery ability has been insufficient. Thus, anew gas pipeline must be constructed to meet gas load of the future market.In this paper,through the investigation and research of project area, general situation andspecific parameters of gas supply and gas supply pipeline were concluded. Through theinvestigation and research of gas transmission volume of existing gas pipeline in the westernregion of Chengdu, using grey theory to establish mathematical model for gas load forecast,which can obtain the pipeline designing transmission volume, finally worked out the optimalscheme for gas distribution. According to the actual terrain of project, The two line scheme wasput forward, the best solution was chosen through various comparison and analysis. A gaspipeline simulation software, Pipeline Studio of British company ESI was adopted to calculatethe operating conditions of pipeline, through several kinds of scheme comparison, the optimalprocess parameters were determined, and then analyzed the adaptability of the whole pipelinesystem. In order to control the external corrosion of pipeline system, prolong the service life ofpipeline, external anti-corrosion layer and cathodic protection were adopted to protect pipelinefrom corrosion, three-layer PE was adopted for external anti-corrosion of the straight pipe,polyethylene composite belt was adopted for hot elbow, cathodic protection chose impressedcurrent, and set a cathodic protection station. According to the strength theory and practicalsituation of the project, calculating the pipeline strength, stability, seismic intensity, the safetysituation of pipeline system of the project was concluded.
