This paper mainly take production process research of Zhongyue tinplate industrial company as starting point. Focus on sloving when the thickness of iron cap reduce to0.23mm from0.235mm,substrate still have good strength and resilience. So as to meet national standard requirements for the sealing cap iron. By comparision and analysis of performance, found deficiencies in performance of Zhongyue tinplate substrate. And improved an better method. After the composition experimental design to the hot-rolled ingot, cold-rolling, annealing and other processes, at last formed the final substrate. Research the properties of the final substrate and analysis of influence law about alloy composition, rolling craft, annealing temperature and smooth amount to the microstructure and properties of substrate. The main research results include the following:(1) Alloying elements C can sightly improve the strength and hardness. Mn and Ti are able to enhance the strength and hardness and elastic modulus, but it also need to control the content, otherwise too high will increase the anisotropy. Its content will appropriate when control at around0.03%.(2) At the same finishing temperature, coiling temperature of560℃will have good mechanical properties. At the same coiling temperature, a lower finishing temperature of the material is beneficial to improving the performance. In comprehensive comparision, select the finishing temperature of840℃,coiling temperature of560℃is ideal for the hot accidental.(3) Ti in the substrate-free, annealing temperature as550℃will have high mechanical performance. After adding Ti in substrate,500℃is an better temperature. So, adding a different alloy composition required to choose a different annealing system.(4) Increase the amount of formation, the substrate can increase the yield strength, tensile strength and elastic modulus, but also the anisotropy of the substrate become more serious.(5) Based on the existing alloy composition and production equipment of Zhongyue, adding 0.03%of alloy elements Ti, select the finishing temperature of840℃,coiling temperature of560℃.as hot rolling process. The Ti substrate-free, the annealing temperature was controlled at about550℃,the Ti substrate, the annealing temperature was controlled at about500℃.The appropriate level to reduce the amount available to a more satisfactory performance of the substrate.
