| 2-methyl imidazole,2-ethyl-4-methyl imidazole and2-phenyl imidazole was modified with epoxy resin. The influence of solvents, dispersion stabilized, reaction time and the ratio of the reactants on the properties of the modified imidazoles were discussed.The effect of reaction conditions and the modification methods on the properties of imidazole curing agent were studied. With optimized reaction conditions, the modified imidazole curing agent show characters like lower curing temperature and longer storage period. |
