In the electrolytic aluminum production, anode assembly is a indispensable link. Its operations almost entirely finished by large automatic. The main task of anode assembly is making use of molten phosphorus iron to assemble anode blocks and rod with steel talons to the anode. The anode mainly consists of the anode Carbon blocks and aluminum rod welded in anode Carbon blocks.In the electrolytic aluminum production, the anode Carbon blocks belong to consumables, the anode that could not be used anymore after electrolysis is called residual anode. Residual anode is sent to the Anode Assembly Workshop, firstly clearing away electrolyte by the Peen-forming Cleaning Machine, secondly separating from the aluminum rod, crushing, recycling, finally, it becomes new anode assembly, this process is called Anode Assembly Process.Residual anode processing is one part of Anode Assembly Process in electrolytic aluminum plant, its function consists of clearing down residual anode from the anode rod, and Carbon blocks breaking to produce new anode block. At present, the residual anode is processed completely automational equipment, whoes corresponding control system is also relatively perfect, its process completed by a whole assembly line, single process is controlled by independent PLC, and different process can switch signal through the network, which constitute a complete control system.Butt Removal Press is one of the core equipment in residual anode processing, selection of Butt Removal Press has a great effect on the efficiency of anode assembly production. For researching the hydraulic system of Butt Removal Press, this paper mainly make many jobs as follows:(1) On the basis of relevant documents, it systematically introduces the basic process of residual anode processing, and emphatically analyses system composition and structure characteristics of several typical Butt Removal Press;(2) On the analysis of principle and operation mechanism Butt Removal Press, it draws the hydraulic system chart of Butt Removal Press, and designs its key components; (3) In comparing with kinds of modeling methods and simulation softwares, it constructs the model of hydraulic system of Butt Removal Press, on the basis of comprehensive modeling simulation platform AMESim. After simulating, it analyzes the factors the affect the precision of time domain features, and it gives conclusions of many executive components rapid collaborative control.
