Forging press palys a significant role in national economy, and is one of the symbols that weights a country machinery manufacturing level. The hydraulic control system of a forging press directly affect the its perfro- mance,so research on forging press hydraulic control system has important practical significance. Based on improvement design of hydraulic control system of 31.5 MN forging hydraulic press, This paper researches the properties of forging press hydraulic system by mechanism modeling, simulation and experimental validation .The key control component of hydraulic control system of forging press, namely the proportion cartridge valves, taking 2-way WRC valve of Bosch Rexroth products, for example, according to its working principle, the mathematical model of the valve is established using mechanism modeling method, and its properties are investigated by simulation with the help of AMEsim software.The mathematical model of filling liquid system is set up, and filling liquid system is simulated. Consequently, the influential factors of fast performance of filling travel has been studied. Improving hydraulic control system of motion crossbeam down. comparative with the old system, the performance of the improved system is better and the results indicate that the improved system reduce shock greatly. Establishing mathematical model of unloading process, analyzes measures of reducing the impact vibration.Studying the new electrohydraulic proportional control system of quick forging hydropress, base on the accumulator return and 2-way proportion cartridge valve control, the energy saving characteristics and quickness of the are analyzed. and the results are verified by experimental methods. The design principle of new electrohydraulic proportional control system of forging hydropress besed on the accumulator return and 3-way proportion cartridge valve control.
