Supramolecular liquid crystalline polymer is based on liquid crystal composites interacting of secondary bonds, hydrogen bonding,Vander Waals interaction, electrostatic interaction, hydrophobic interaction and so can be used for the assembly of supramolecular liquid crystalline polymers, or result the formation of extended mesogen. In a variety of weak interactions,hydrogen bond is a moderate-intensity, the highly selective,derection and saturation of hydrogen bond make it a ideal force that stabilizes and constructions supramolecular structure. In this thesis, carboxylic acid which attracts much attention is a proton donor, Supramolecular Liquid Crystalline Polymers are synthesis by assembling between LCDs which contain carboxylic acid and polyaniline.In this dissertation, nine liquid crystalline monomers were synthesized,which include4-(undec-10-enoyloxy)benzoicacid(M1),4’-(4-(undec-10-enoyloxy)benzoyloxy)biphenyl-4-car boxylicacid(M2),4’-(2-fluoro-4-(undec-10-enoyloxy)benzoyloxy)biphenyl-4-carboxylicacid(M3),4-cyano-3-fluorophenyl4’-(undec-10-enoyloxy)biphenyl-4-carboxylate(M4),4-cyano-3-flu orophenyl4’-(allyloxy)biphenyl-4-carboxylate(M5),4-(undec-10-enoyloxy)phenyl4’-(allyoxy)b iphenyl-4-carboxylate(M6),2-fluoro-4-(4-(hexanoyloxy)benzoyloxy)benzoicacid(M7),4-(4-(he xanoyloxy)benzoyloxy)benzoicacid(M8),4-(4-(octanoyloxy)benzoyloxy)benzoicacid(M9). Six monomers were grafted to linear polymethylhydrogensiloxanes, So six series of liquid crystalline polymers(LCPs) with different chemical structures and characters were synthesized. In addition, the supermolecular complexes,which were prepared by monomers M2,M3M7-M9with polyaniline by self-assembly, exhibited liquid crystalline poperties as H1-H5.And,the supermolecular polymers,which were prepared by LCPs P1-P6that contain carboxylic acid with polyaniline by self-assembly exhibited liquid crystalline poperties as N1-N6.Especially, nine monomers and the six side-chain liquid crystalline polymers and five supermolecular complexes and six supermolecalar polymers were first prepared,they are innovation research.The structures and properties of the obtained liquid crystalline monomers, supermolecular complexes, LCPs and supermolecular polymers were investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy,’H-NMR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)and polarizing optical microscopy (POM),their structure-property relationships were discussed in detail.Besides M1and M3,all of them have series of liquid crystalline texture.Monomers M2,M6and polymer series P1-P3were smectic liquid crystallines,monomers M4,M5, M7-M9and polymer P1-P3series were nematic liquid crystallines;The melting point of five supermolecular complexes higntened a lot;The bond of liquid crystalline state of six series supermolecular polymers were expanded.Not only they have important theoreticalvalue,but also provide the condition for a dynamic function characteristics of supramolecular LCD device.
