Machine tool guide from a variety of friction as a component of the tribology systems, the wear and tear leading to failure of part of its drive components, the whole technical condition deteriorated, reliability, reduce the level of the most direct one of the most important reason. Wear process due to environmental factors and the impact of different materials, and to show the complexity and diversity. Because the factors that affect the wear process is random, and the time of day, so the wear and tear of random process theory to describe the process of reflection can be more precise and dynamic nature of the regularity of wear, which wear parts or systems for the reliability of science and accurate forecasts, targeted measures to improve the wear resistance and arranging timely maintenance or repair are of great significance.Wear the key issue is reliability prediction wear prediction model establishe d. Previous prediction models are usually based on wear and tear wear mechanism, and does not have the versatility, while not considered the random nature of we ar, resulting in inaccurate predictions. From the perspective of the randomness of wear factors, the establishment of a wear prediction model, the model only consid ered the main factor, but also taking into account the random micro factors, in th is based on the reliability of the machine tool wear guide study. Specific research papers are as follows.①According to the friction and wear testing purposes and characteristics of t he machine tool guide the selection of materials and processing, experimental desi gn theory with the planning and design of the test to obtain a scientific testing p rogram. Achieved through fewer test was more accurate and complete data objecti ve of reducing test costs.②Environmental factors, working conditions and material properties, etc. of t he machine friction and wear properties of the main factors that determine the est ablishment of the static wear prediction model variables. Application of partial lea st squares regression method predicted polynomial model of wear, and prediction accuracy of the model results have been tested.③Established the basic model of stochastic process wear. Analysis of the wea r process of the basic characteristics of random process theory, put forward a mo re general stochastic process and the wear model. The results based on a random process, the wear on the Machine Tool wear mechanism of the process of doing, established Machine Tool Wear random process model.④The reliability of prediction of wear and tear, according to wear fuzzy ran dom reliability prediction techniques and the basic model of stochastic process to establish the reliability of continuous wear prediction model under the given reli ability evaluation Machine Tool and reliability changes situation.
