As a key component of the machine, the Machine Tool has the effects of guidance and support, and plays a decisive role in the machine feed accuracy and precision of retention, which directly affects the quality and performance of the workpiece. Wear is the main cause of failure of the Machine Tool, which will not only greatly increase the failure rate of the Machine Tool, but also to a certain extent, shorten the service life of the machine and reduce the reliability of its use. This paper studies the wear process of Machine Tool, and an accurate wear prediction model according to the machine guide aril actual wear process is established, which can conduct scientific Machine Tool wear reliability prediction and can provide a reliable basis for the Machine Tool maintenance and design.First, to predict the wear depth of Machine Tool, this paper proposed a wear depth calculation formula which is based on the modified Archard model. Then using a discretization method with the ANSYS software to calculate the formula, and proposed the finite element analysis and simulation method and process of rail wear. Finally, taking the Machine Tool as an example, using finite element analysis to simulate the wear process to obtain the depth of wear is calculated on the number of wear.Secondly, considering the coupling analysis of Machine Tool wear factors, the paper proposed a rail wear analysis method by combination of the Taguchi method and the finite element simulation, and the orthogonal experiment of the rail wear factors is designed by using the Taguchi method. Using the ANSYS software to conduct the simulation of rail wear and using the response surface method to obtain the calculation formula of the rail wear depth concerning the wear degree.Again, this paper proposed a prediction analysis of the reality of the rail wear based on the multi factors coupling analysis of Machine Tool wear model, which uses the accumulated rail wear depth as the judgement of wear reliability. According to the rail wear characteristics of the random fuzzy reliability analysis, and base on the comprehensive analysis of the distribution type test and compatibility of the test of the wear life of the rail inspection information and test information, the Machine Tool reliability can be evaluated.Through the Machine Tool wear reliability calculation case, the application analysis of the proposed random and fuzzy reliability analysis method of the Machine Tool based on the wear prediction can be conducted and the feasibility and validity of the proposed method is verified.
