Cut stem is filled into the cigarette according to certain blending ratio, its inner quality of advantages and disadvantages directly affects the overall quality of cigarette. This puts forward higher requirements for stability, accuracy, flexibility and extensibility to the control system of cigarette factory cut stem production line. Hangzhou cigarette factory cut stem production line used distributed control, separate management mode before it was upgraded, each process section adopts independent master-slave communication mode and they become independent control systems, there is no communication among the master-slave communication control systems. Due to production process is numerous, the number of independent master-slave communication control system is many, its structure is unreasonable, centralized management is not convenient, unable to real-time dynamic monitoring the whole production line, reliability is not high, control accuracy is not high, these problems increasingly prominent, Not only the quality of finished cut stem is not guaranteed, but also conducive to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise market. This kind of control mode already cannot satisfy the modern tobacco companies focused on cut stem production Centralized management, the real-time dynamic monitoring, rapid response, flexible operation, easy to extend and data read fast.Referring to relevant technical data at home and abroad after mastering the cut stem process fully! According to the structure layout of cut stem threads in the factory, and for the requirements of system openness, reliability, maintainability, information integration capability, easy to monitor and quick read information, had carried on the feasibility of the overall design scheme of cut stem threads control system. At the same time, proposed using Siemens S7communication technology based on PROFIBUS network connectting numerous original and independent of the master-slave communication control systems up, to form a main main communication control system and which network structure is clear. The multiple mains (SIMATIC PLC controller) respectively connected to the production equipment, so as to realize the effectively control of the field devices. Connectting DP interfaces of the multiple mains through PROFIBUS cable, so as to realize mutual communication connection among the multiple mains. In this paper, the main theoretical research work and production practice results are as follows:(1) On the basis of familiar with cigarette cut stem production process, in-depth analyzes the control mode of cut stem thread before upgrading, proposed using Siemens S7communication technology based on PROFIBUS network connectting numerous original and independent of the master-slave communication control systems up, To form a main main communication control system and which network structure is clear.Establishing the main main communication control system based on Siemens S7communication.(2) Research on Siemens S7communication technology based on PROFIBUS network, research is mainly focused on the main main communication control mode. Detailed analysis of the controlled object, network topology structure, selection and configuration of hardware and programming software STEP7respectively. In view of the cut stem process and Index requirements, designed a joint control system by multiple master stations (SIMATIC PLC), PROFIBUS network, win CC dynamic monitoring.(3) The PC monitoring system using SIMATIC Win CC to design implementation, the configuration of process control object through the PC upper machine, the powerful real-time monitoring function of SIMATIC Win CC improves the working conditions, which ensures the production system can efficiently and reliable run.This scheme has the advantages of high intelligent degree、high flexibility、read fast、real-time dynamic monitoring data、high openness and convenient operation, Through the test and operation enterprises and subsequent production practice has proved,system efficient and stable operation, provides a typical example for other domestic enterprises in the technology upgrade,it has a certain application value.
