Circulating water cooling system is an important part of the PTA production device,generally using the open-loop water cooling towers to cool, however, this causees large power consumption in and a lot of water into water vapor evaporation or discharge, resulting in a serious waste of water.This paper design a closed-circuit water circulation cooling system., a high efficiency heat exchanger, using the heat exchange water and seawater, water is used as the primary cooling water, water is designed to closed system, circulating water pump only provide the differential pressure of heat exchanger requirements. High salt content of seawater, with corrosion and fouling of the ion concentration is much higher than the general freshwater, the species of microorganisms and large creatures, high content, and thus, the use of seawater for cooling water, the system there is a serious problem,such as corrosion,scaling and organisms attached. In this paper, seawater pretreatment and sodium hypochlorite generator design for solution circulating cooling system corrosion, scaling, and organisms attached. By calculating choose efficient plate heat exchanger. By economic feasibility analysis shows the system on water consumption and power consumption than traditional open cooling tower system is low.Water circulation cooling system save a large amount of water,and the water system is a closed loop system, less evaporation loss, low power consumption, reduce operating costs, conserve water resources.
