| In the recent years, seafood is becoming more and more popular. However, marine ecology and seafood are more easily exposed to the threat of pathogenic microorganism as pollution on marine environment’ degradation. Traditional microbial test can’t meet the need of quick test on fresh seafood for its disadvantages:complicated operation, professional, time-consuming, low specificity. It is of great importance to establish a new quick microbial test for marine environment and seafood to control disease, keep healthy and develop economy.Comparing to traditional test, this paper studied the quick microbial test on fecal coliform, total bacteria, listeria, staphylococcus aureus, marine mould and yeast as well as salmonella. It showed that quick test can be as accurate as the traditional test (difference coefficient P<0.05) or even better while greatly shorten test time.We also applied the new microbial test in marine shellfish, culture seawater and sediment. The result showed that among the35samples of marine shellfish, over-limit rate of fecal coliform was25.70%, total bacteria was4000~2743333cfu/g<106cfu/g, the number of staphylococcus aureus was<10cfu/g~13cfu/g, salmonella was not detected. The total bacteria in the marine shellfish culture seawater was460~12667cfu/mL, between clean and medium-polluted, overall mean was light-polluted while vibrio was5~365cfu/mL. The number of fecal coliform in the sediment was<2~160cfu/g, some exceeded the standards. On the whole, the quality of the culture seawater was good while in some cases, fecal coliform in the sediment exceeded the standard in the first season, because of fecal pollution. On distribution, the offshore area suffered more pollution and bacteria peaked in summer. This research initially indicated pathogenic microorganism condition in the culture shellfish and the habit, provided data for the policymaker. |
