At present, the state makes a new strategy for the development of natural gas, strengthen the exploitation and utilization efficiency of natural gas is the direction of our country’s energy development planning. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a chemical of natural gas compressed, cooled to-163℃, which has a high storage efficiency, cover an area of small and low carbon and sulfur pollutants. LNG storage tank as a kind of normal pressure tank to store liquefied natural gas, its construction technology is developing rapidly, but with the leakage accident bring a great threat of people life and property safety. As a result, research on safety analysis of LNG tank has the great significance. This paper takes a5000m3LNG storage tank in Beijing as the background. First of all, PHAST software by setting the different wind speed and different sizes of cofferdam and different ways of leakage of process parameters, analyzed the influence of various parameters on the LNG tank’s accidents. Finding out the effect of various factors on the accident. Providing a basis in the design of LNG tank and its surrounding at LNG reserve standing. Then, through the simulative scenes of broken and pipelines leakage accident in5000m3LNG. Combined with the simulation results and analyzed from the concentration diffusion, fire (including: pool fire, jet fire and flash of fire, fire, etc.) and explosion. It is concluded that the different accident scenarios for people, process equipment and building’s damage degree of content. Finding out the dangerous zone. Providing site planning and the concrete of process equipment security measures to station of liquefied natural gas reserves. As far as possible to reduce the possibility of accident and the consequences of the accident. At last, combining the two aspects of analysis. Putting forward constructive suggestions to LNG reserve standing outside the factory yard layout and the factory, planning and the design and construction of LNG tanks.
