With the rapid development of world economy, natural gas as a new fuel consumption is growing rapidly in recent years. LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas, Liquefied Natural Gas) is the Natural Gas purification of cryogenic Liquefied liquid, more conducive to long-distance transportation, storage, and make the applications of Natural Gas is more flexible and wider. There are a large number of research and application about liquefied natural gas (LNG) tank structure design in our country, but in this respect and still exists certain gaps when compared with the international advanced level, in the specific design calculation and local structure details such as there are still some worthy of improvement, especially the low temperature, flammable and explosive risk of LNG tank structure determines the design to consider more comprehensive. In this paper, structure optimization and thermal insulation performance of 30m sized liquefied natural gas storage tank are studied. After determining the basic design process on the basis of the storage tank, the stress analysis of tank are carried out, the structure and size of tank are checked. The insulation structure design of storage tank are also calculated to increase the storage safety of LNG storage tanks. Finite element analysis method is applied to simulate the tank structure and temperature, the support structure of LNG tank are simulated for the strength check. At the same time, temperature field simulation of the tank walls are calculated to verify the rationality of the design of insulation.Pressurization process mathematical model of liquefied natural gas storage tank is presented in this paper the, phenomena in the storage tank pressurization process such as heat transfer, mass transfer and their effects on tank pressurization rate are analyzed. C language programming technology are used to calculate different initial filling rate and pressurization process in different pressurized gas temperature, the structure of liquefied natural gas storage tank design, material selection, the design of the carburetor has a certain guiding significance.
