This thesis studies an intrinsic safety wireless pressure sensor antennawhich can be applied to the single hydraulic prop in underground coal mine,introduces the thermal design of the sensor and the design and standard ofintrinsic safety circuit, and explores a design method of intrinsic safety ofwireless pressure sensor antenna in underground coal mine. It designs anantenna structure in conformity with the intrinsic safety casing which in thisresearch is metal, solving the problem that traditional antenna must avoid themetal casing.It also focuses on the impact of two factors from the parameters andposition of the antenna on antenna gain when one side of the metal casing opens.And through simulation, this thesis gets the best solution parameters of theantenna gain in the design of intrinsic safety type.The simulation and actual measurement demonstrate the followingconclusions. First, the larger of the metal casing opens, the greater the antennagain is, but the increase amplitude gradually decreases; the maximum gain valuediffer from the minimum at44.5db. Second, when the thickness of side openmouth reduces by1mm each, the antenna gain will increase2db. Third, the antenna gain increases with the decrease of the distance between microstripantenna and the open mouth; it reaches the maximum gain value at a distance ofapproximately1.4mm from the open mouth; Fourth, the empirical equation ofthe distance between microstrip antenna and the position of the side open mouthand the antenna gain is established on the basis of this project. Fifth, thisresearch, by a simple device, works out that the spread distance of antenna in thetest environment is about20m, while with the using of the open mouth it will beabout14m, which can meet the current needs of safety in coal production.
