Industrialization requirement of product miniaturization has greatly promoted the development of micro-forming technology for just 10 years.However,a series of problems also come out correspondingly.That means there are still more science and technology to seek after.Therefore,it is absolutely necessary to seek after new microforming methods to solve the current problems.Laser dynamic micro-deep-drawing forming(LDF) is just a new technique of plastic forming,and its forming mechanism is that laser-induced high-speed flyer is used to load and shape metal foil,drived by laser-induced plasma.First of all,the paper sets forth the forming mechanism of LDF,analyzes the main function of the absorption layer and constrained layer and their effects on formability,and establishes the maximum center displacement model and flyer velocity model;Secondly,according to the impact factors(a single laser pulse energy, constrained layer thickness,etc),the paper designed the experiment scheme,studied quantificaionally the forming characteristics of LDF under different conditions(laser energy,processing conditions,material properties,etc.),and analyzed metal formability.The experimental results show:the metal foil forming has a very good performance under the existing conditions;Finally,numerical simulation of LDF was carded out,which will provided plenty of data for the modification of parameters,and the establishment of a corresponding relationship between them.The results show that numerical simulation and experimental results roughly in line.Laser dynamic micro-deep-drawing forming(LDF) is a new technique of plastic forming,with the characteristics of better processing of flexibility,high efficiency, and precise controllability of formability,while reducing the impact of the size effect, to some extent to meet the requirements of mass production,which has a high research value and good application prospects.
