In the paper,a three-dimension finite element model for analyzing the effect of friction on stress and distortion distribution in deep drawing has been developed based on both tribological and metal processing theories. The friction among the die,punch and clamp in deep drawing has been studied by using the finite element model and ANSYS/LS-DYNA software. The effect of friction factors on metal blank deep drawing process has been investigated. Furthermore,interior stress state in metal blank also is discussed based on micro-contact stress at different deep drawing node.Based on the study considering the effect of material properties and frictional force on stress and strain as well interior stress in metal blank whiling deep drawing,the research result are beneficial of choose of material,mould design and analysis of products quality.
