Along with the constant enhancement of environmental protection by various countries,the production of dope dyed P(AN-VDC) fiber by wet spinning has been valued by the PAN manufacturers more and more.It has many advantages such as superior effect,simple process,low requirement to the equipment,saving energy and so on,even could make colored fiber which has wild chromatogram,vivid luster and excellent color fastness.In the coloration of dope dyed P(AN-VDC) fiber,the dispersion and stability of dope dyed colorant are the keys of the spinning of Spinning Solution and quality of colored P(AN-VDC) fiber.The dispersion and stability of the carbon black,iron oxide red S190.iron oxide yellow S920,ultramarine U08 pigments in DMAc system are characterized by means of various methods,such as the particle size and distribution,Rcentrifugation stability,tinting strength and so on. The optimal dispersion process of colorant for dope dye is made from two aspects:sand milling time and hyper-dispersant dosage.The results indicated that the carbon black,iron oxide red S190,iron oxide yellow S920,ultramarine U08 system could be obtained with hyper-dispersant C when the dosage of it is 10%,5%,5%,5%at the weight of pigment,grinding for 2,2,8,5 hours respectively;or with hyper-dispersant A when the dosage of it is 2.5%,6%,5%,5%at the weight of pigment,grinding for 3,4,3,9 hours respectively.The study on kinetics and thermodynamics of carbon black - hyper-dispersant A system has been investigated for the dispersion process of carbon black.The results showed that the adsorption isotherm of scattering 1min accords with the Nernst model.The carbon black immediately adsorbed hyper-dispersant A with a certain proportion(distribution coefficient K) by physical way.With the increasing of sand milling time,the physical mode by which carbon black adsorbed hyper-dispersant A has gradually been transformed into the chemical mode,and this transformation was quicker than the increasing of hyper-dispersant A adsorbed on carbon black.During the adsorbing fixation,the pseudo - second order kinetic model agreed very well with the dynamical behavior for the adsorption of hyper-dispersant A on carbon black,and the adsorption mode was mainly chemical.Meanwhile,the adsorption isotherm of scattering 3h was similar to the Langmuir model,and the adsorption is typical chemical adsorption with monomolecular layer.Moreover,the chemical adsorption which was suggested to be carried through the establishment of hydrogen bonds between carbon black and hyper-dispersant A was confirmed by the analysis of IR.Finally,the dope dyed colorants which showed good scattered stability were applied in the production of P(AN-VDC) fiber by wet spinning.Some related performance tests at dope dyed fiber indicated that the inorganic colorants had no negative effects on the mechanical properties of dope dyed P(AN-VDC) fiber.As well as the color fastness,the dope dyed P(AN-VDC) fibers also showed excellent color fastness to washing and perspiration.
