Polysulfonamide(PSA)fiber is aromatic polyamide fiber with high temperature that has been achieved industrialized and China has its independent intellectual property rights,mainly used as protection products,filter material and insulation field.It is difficult to dye for PSA fiber under conventional conditions and easy to make its dyed products fade in the environment of high temperature or sunlight when used.In recent years,the study on dyeing of PSA fiber abroad is rarely reported,some domestic researchers study on dyeing performance of PSA fiber,but the poor color fastness to sunlight and heat has not been solved.Therefore,the study on PSA dyeing and color fastness improvement has great significance.Polysulfonamide fabric was taken as the main substrate of study in this paper,the main work is as follows:(1)Several different dyes were used to dye polysulfonamide fabrics,factors exerting influence on light colorfastness are analyzed,such as dye structures,concentration and combination dyeing.The results showed that different dye varieties,dye structures and concentration will affect the light fastness of polysulfonamide fabrics to some extent.The light fastness is decided by the dye with the worst light fastness when textile was dyed by several dyes mixture.(2)With the method of emulsion inversion phase(EIP),the O/W type nano-emulsions was prepared using the composite surfactant Span80-Tween40 and by taking cyclohexane as the oil phase.The influences of the emulsifier concentration and composite,volume fraction of disperse phase and the temperature of the prepared emulsions were studied by measuring its droplet size and stability.Experimental results showed that when the mass ratio of Span80 and Tween40 is 1:1,the amount of emulsifier is 4%,the volume fraction of disperse phase is 10%,and control the temperature 55?,emulsifying for 10 min with the rotate speed 10000r/min.The average diameter of nano-emulsions was less than 150 nm,and it has excellent stability and uvioresistant performance.(3)Using mixed-surfactants Span-80 and Tween-40 as emulsifier,some UV absorbersand hindered amine free-radicaI scavengers were emulsified,and the improvement of the light-fastness properties of the poIysuIfonamide fabrics finished with them was investigated.UV absorber UV-9 and free radicaI scavenger UV-770 were selected on this basis to compose an effective light stabilizer,which was used to finish polysuIfonamide fabrics to give obvious light-fastness improvement of the treated fabrics.(4)Using the as-prepared emulsion in the dyeing process,the washing fastness and rubbing fastness of the dyed fabric had no obvious changes.However,some negative effects existed in the dye uptake and the fabric color was lighter.A new light stabilizer was been found which could improve the fastness to sunlight of PSA fabric,and greatly improve the dye uptake of the cationic dye during the dyeing process.What's more,it can dissolve in water.As a result,the new light stabilizer could be conveniently and efficiently used in practical application.
