4-Chloro-2-trifluoromethylaniline and its derivatives are important intermediates for pharmaceutics,pesticides and new herbicides and dyes. As a result of their excellent property and wide applictions,the study on synthesis methods of them is very important for learning and application. The synthesis of 4-chloro-2-trifluoromethylaniline is 5 methods:1) directly chlorination;2) nitration and reduction;3) acetylation;4) fluorination and hydrolysis;5) oxidation and chlorination.In this paper,4-chloro-2-trifluoromethylaniline is prepared by chlorination of trifluoromethylbenezene catalyzed by Lewis acid and various catalysts of Fe,FeCl3,ZnCl2 AlCl3 and temperature and time were discussed.The nitration of 3-chlorotrifluoromethylbenezene is performed promoted by H2SO4/HNO3.The cost and wastes in processing were decreased.The melting purify method of nitro product was developed and purity of product was increased.4-Chloro-2-trifluoro-methylaniline was obtained,a green chemistry reduction technology,by the hydrogenation of 5-chloro-2-nitrotrifluoromethylbenezene at hysrogenation process of 0.5~1.5Mpa and temperature of 70~80℃. The product was up to 64%under the optimum condition and charactized with GC,IR,and 1H-NMR.
