The main task is to develop a new type of controlling and measuring system for vibration tapping machine.The domestic vibration tapping test equipment can be divided into two kinds: the mechanical structure type and the stepper motors structure type.Yet, there are little mechanical devices which can simultaneously adjust the amplitude, vibration frequency(and the pitch change needs to replace mode). And the stepper devices can make only small vibration frequency. Therefore, the controlling system is a new ,parameter variable system (mainly refer to :nominal diameter, pitch, spindle speed, vibration frequency, amplitude,ect.).The measuring system refers to the measurement of spindle speed, vibration frequency, amplitude.Firstly, this new type of vibration tapping machine working principle and main features are introduced, through the development of vibration tapping of the mechanical parts (the adjustments of the the vibration amplitude and the vibration frequencypart). After carefully analysising and studying, this paper develop a control and measure system program according to the vibration Tapping machine structure,and working principle and requirements,.The control system uses microcontroller technology to develop a system controller, and develop the power module, power-down data protection module, liquid crystal display module and voltage protection module.The stepper motor driver module and the frequency converter is selected. Relying on Keil and microcontroller-based C language environment to develop software components for the control systemBased on the overall program, this topic uses virtual instrument to develop measurement system. The hardware uses the eddy current sensor with supporting institutions, using NI-6024E data acquisition card as connection of sensor and industrial control computer. The software components is developed using LabVIEW signal acquisition module, signal analysis module, data storage and reporting modules .Finally, the measuring and controlling system debugs overall. The results show that the vibration tapping control system runs normally, especially,the synthetic pitch, amplitude adjustment and vibration frequency adjustment achieves the desired design requirements.It has a good tapping effect such as on the stainless steel. The measurement system is functional, modern design, and the spindle rotation speed, vibration frequency, amplitude measurements have reached the design requirements.
