The Seed Value Distribution Of Theoretical Model And Empirical Study In View Of Industry Chain

Seed is one of the most important agricultural inputs, and it play an important role in keeping normal agricultural production activities, and it also relates to the stability and development of agriculture in China, so there are great significance to maintain the healthy development of the seed industry chain. The problem of value distribution is one of the most core issues in industry chain, the problem is directly related to the stability and health of the industry chain development, so it is necessary to study the value distribution of seed industry chain. At present, the market of agricultural means of production is gradually opened in China, a variety of subjects participate in market competitions, and the competition are fierce specially seed market, research and develop, production and sales are deepen conflict in value distribution, Therefore, we need to explore the factors of affect the value distribution of seed industry chain, and building value distribution model, so as to provide guidance to value distribution of industry chain.In this study, resources, power, dependence and risk are extracted as affecting value distribution of industry chain on the basis of the literature of scholars. Next, we study the concept and meaning of each elements, and relevant variables are quantified and measured that is on the basis of existing research and combining with the characteristics of seed industry. At the same time on basis of literature studies, we get the relationship between these elements and the value distribution, then building a conceptual model of this study and putting forward research hypothesis. Finally taking 239 county agents of rape seed in midstream and downstream of Yangtze River as an example, we do empirical study.We get following conclusions through empirical study:First, the resources of agents has significant positive relationship with value distribution, that is, agents get more value distribution if they have a lot of resources; Second, the power to retailers has significant positive relationship with value distribution, that is, the greater the power to retailers, the more value distribution; Third, the risk has significant positive relationship with value distribution, that is, the more risk undertaking by agents, the more value distribution; Forth, the resources of agents has significant negative relationship with dependence on retailers, and significant positive relationship with the power to suppliers and retailers, but it has no significant relationship with dependence on suppliers, that is, the more resources of agents, the less dependence on retailers and the greater power to suppliers and retailers; Fifth, the dependence on suppliers and retailers has significant negative relationship with power to them, that is, the less dependence on them, the greater power to them; Sixth, the power to suppliers has no significant positive relationship with value distribution.On the base of conclusions, some suggestions are put forward how to improve value distribution of agents, as well as how to promote seed industry by government and industry executives.The study, we have innovation in perspective of research, and we study the value distribution from resources, channel power and dependence and risk; Also we reveals the mechanism and influence factors of value distribution of seed industry chain, the power to suppliers has on significant relationship with value distribution, it is different from others studies, and the conclusions have innovation.
