Structural Equation Modeling is a very important new statistic analysis method. It has been applied in all kinds of science fields. Structural equation modeling has an advantage which is different from those classical statistic analysis, it has been admitted by more and more academicians. Structural equation modeling has owned high prestige in statistic field, Claes Fornell, who is the professor of Michigan University, named it as"the second generation multivariate analysis".The research of structural equation modeling can be trace back to the beginning of last century. Under the hard study of some foreign academicians, such as H.Wold, J?reskog and so on, the theory of structural equation modeling came into maturation gradually in the 70th~80th of last century. From the end of last century to the beginning of this century, the significance of structural equation modeling was cognized by some academicians in china gradually, and structural equation modeling was also applied in some fields in china gradually. Because of the advantages of structural equation modeling, it is a certain that structural equation modeling will be used fully in china. Structural equation modeling is so an important statistic analysis that it is necessary to understand the basic theory of structural equation modeling completely if we want to apply it fully. It is just based on the cognition to make a basal study of structural equation modeling in the paper. On the basis of studying large numbers of literatures, the paper dissertates some concepts of structural equation modeling, modeling method, the steps of modeling, questions of modeling and how to choice the mode of parameters estimation methods clearly. Especially, we research the iterative procedure of the partial least square in structural equation modeling which is one of structural equation modeling parameters estimation methods in detail. Parameters estimation is the key of structural equation modeling. Under the understanding of the iterative procedure fully, we use c++ language to realize the iterative procedure and use a sample to validate the iterative procedure. The paper does also set forth to research how to develop a visual modeling tool of structural equation modeling, and brings out a great idea on how to make full use of the net to apply structural equation modeling. |
