The Key Influencing Factors Of Venture Capital Project Selection

High-Tech industry and venture capital investment have being developing together and restricting each other since venture capital investment becoming. One's development can not leave other's development.In China, venture capital investment began in the 1990s. Up to now, it hasn't attracted considerable development. Based on this,high technology industry was always in stagnancy. We must advance our venture capital investment first to grow high-tech industry. The inflow of venture capital will pull the develop of high-tech.In turn, the development of high-tech industry will push the advantage of venture capital investment. How ever, venture capital investment has risks in the whole process of decision-making which make massive venture capital project into failure. So, venture capital investors must reject the unreasonable projects with some key factors as the beginning of project screening. On impel of practical experiences and individual consciousness, the key factors investors used were not all-round and not objective. Thus, the hidden troubles were berried in the satge project screening.Based on above conclusions, the key factors that investors used in screening high-tech peojects were researched in this paper to extract comprehensive and objective influencing key factor systems. This study is mainly composed of following three parts:The first part is literature review. The related concepts of venture capital investment,high-tech project and decision-making are summarized. After these, this paper reviews the influencing factors system of venture capital project selection and their Measurement terms.The second part summarized the above influencing facors, and found an comprehensive and objective influencing factor system with the results of experts interviews. Test the factors system with reliability analysis in the form of small sample test to the reliability of the whole measurement terms.Based on above analysis, this paper used reliability analysis,applicability analysis and exploratory factor analysis to amend the influencing factor system.;based on the analysis above, this paper use AMOS to build the structural equation modeling (SEM) of factor system of high-tech project selection and identify the most important factors. The result is that there are nine key factors influence investors'screening decision-making and (their influence from high to row): technical features of new products, investment and out, integration capabilities of innovation enterprise, investor preferences, entrepreneur quality, replacement product features, market features, new product features and environment features.
