In the 21st Century, the means of competition are not only products and channels, but the competition of technology, management, and the core competence of the enterprises. The core competence is the foundation of its living and developing. The enterprises could live in the market competition only by building the core competence. Technical innovation is the decisive factor for enterprises building the core competence, and is the important source of the core competence advantage. With the development of the science and technology, the traditional incremental technology innovation couldn't keep up with the pace of the market, so they began to attempt at disruptive technology innovation. It could help enterprises stand on the same starting line with other competitors who has a technology leadership, make their technology leap forward, and to achieve technical substitution. More importantly, it could help the enterprises to have more living space and make their core competence stronger.This paper combined the disruptive technology innovation with the core competence, use disruptive technology innovation to solve the problems of enterprises building core competence. After reading a lot of information and references at home and abroad, first detailed analyze the conception, features and factors of the disruptive technology innovation and core competence. Found the common of them, proposed the advantage of using disruptive technology innovation to build core competence. Secondly, depth study of the formation process of the disruptive technology innovation and the core competence, create the model of the core competence after finding out the point of contact. Thirdly, create the model base on the analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, then propose the evaluation criteria to decide the effect. Finally, combine with the macroeconomic environment and the micro-environment, analyze the handicap of enterprise building the core competence, then put forward countermeasures and suggestions.This paper elaborate the internal links and conversion mode between the disruptive technology innovation and core competence through the model of building the core competence based on the disruptive technology innovation.
