With the economic and social development, enterprises as an important part of social system are closely related to other sections in innumerable ways. In order to survive and develop, enterprises make every attempt to seek their own competitive advantages, but the function of the source of the previous competitive advantages becomes indistinct, while the way that enterprises strengthen competitive advantages through bearing social responsibility has become a hot topic in fields of theory and enterprises.This thesis puts forwards and closely focuses on the view that enterprises can strengthen competitive advantages by bearing social responsibility, which is regarded as a new way. Based on this view, this thesis compares and analyzes three main sources of competitive advantages, explores new source of strengthening competitive advantages, argues theoretically the relation between bearing social responsibility and competitive advantages, elevates social responsibility to a higher degree by the annotation of Haier's competitive advantage case, makes strategy design on how to strengthen competitive advantages by bearing social responsibility. In empirical aspect, this thesis annotates the whole framework of strategic theory, and proves its validity and feasibility by the demonstration of Hunan XX Automotive Services Co.,Ltd.The important point of this thesis is to construct theoretical framework of bearing social responsibility and make demonstrations. Theoretical framework includes guideline, strategic thought and operation framework (strategy analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, strategy evaluation and strategy control). The condition of social responsibility of Hunan XX Automotive Services Co., Ltd is taken as the example. Based on the above, this thesis demonstrates the way in which enterprises strengthen competitive advantages by bearing social responsibility in multi-directional, multilevel ways.This thesis has particular theoretical and pragmatic meaning for enterprises to strengthen competitive advantages in the fierce competition, in terms of incorporating social responsibility into Enterprise Strategic Management, instructing enterprises to build the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, and concerning with social responsibility from the strategic view.
