Drug advertisement is a way that drug company public products, set up brands and promote sales. Good advertisement can help people get the accurate, science-based information, while incorrect ones will give misleading. Because the difference between prescription drugs and nonprescription drugs in security and how it being used, there is a difference in the management of them. Prescription drug advertisement can provide useful information for health care providers to make wise decisions about treatment. And nonprescription drug advertisement will help consumer choose appropriate medicines for themselves.The government has made a lot of provisions upon drug advertisement. State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) regulate the approving of drug advertisement while State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC) is responsible for the daily supervision. Generally, the company get more money from drug advertising which violate the law. In order to protect the health and safety of life of public, the government will strengthen the management of drug advertising. Thus, there is a game existed between drug company and the government.This paper analyzed the causes and the major presence of illegal drug advertisements, explained how the state supervise the drug ads and how companies release a drug ads.
