The Influence Of Information Technology Barriers On Technological Innovation In Small And Medium-sized Enterprises

With the development of developed countries slowing down, some developed countries abtively have introduced non-tariff measures to protect the trade, and the information technology barriers are popular at present. Information technology barriers have generated profound influence to many developing countries, especially to export SMEs which could not be ignored. Generally, technical standards in developed countries are higher than ones in developing countries, Information technology barriers reflect the technology gap between developed and developing countries. SMEs should carry out technology innovation to win position in competitive international markets. Therefore, this research reflects not only theoretical value, but also practical significance to SMEs technology innovation activities.This text combines theoretical and empirical analysis. based on collecting large amounts of relational data; apply the principles of international trade and economics to research the influence of information technology barriers in SMEs. There are five parts, as follows:In the first part, it summarizes and comments the current situation of technology innovation and the influence of information technology barriers in the existing literatures, and analyses question and deficiency.In the second part, it introduces the relational content of technology innovation and then the connotation and features of information technology barriers, finally introduces the relation between information technology barriers and technology innovation. Those are the base to this text.The third part is the key one in this paper. It constructs the relative model of information technology barriers and SMEs technology innovation, and then introduces the positive and negative impact on SMEs technology innovation. Based on these, it analyses SMEs technology innovation production of information technology barriers, those are the theoretical foundation.The fourth part is the empirical research. Take electronic information products industry for example; it summarizes question and deficiency in the electronic information products industry, analyses positive and negative impact on the electronic information products industry.The fifth part is countermeasures. According to research, it proposes the strategies to improve SMEs technology innovation capability to electronic information products industry through SMEs, association and government.This paper studies the influence of information technology barriers on SMEs technology innovation, and proposes theoretical foundation of SMEs technology innovation development and management in SMEs export trade, offers the reference to the scientific decision-making and related regulations in the relative department.
