Chongyang County Agricultural Structure Adjustment Research

The rational structure of agriculture is an important step in achieving agricultural modernization, in large measure determines an efficient regional agriculture development; only through the adjustment of agricultural structure and the rational allocation of agricultural resources and production factors, we could solve the farmer employment and farmer's income increasing, agricultural development, rural stability and so on. This paper reviews the structural adjustment of domestic and international agricultural research trends, discuss the content of agricultural structure and adjustment of agricultural structure, cards a theoretical basis for the adjustment of agricultural structure, summers up the principles of the adjustment of agriculture structure. On this basis, the article describes and analyzes the basic circumstances and agriculture structural condition of Chongyang County. We think that the agricultural structure of Chongyang County exist a lot of problems:leading industrial advantages is not obvious; the industrialization of agriculture lags behind the development of the social service system, which restricts the process of industrialization of agriculture; farmers'Agricultural science and technology level are low; agricultural inputs is low, and infrastructure is poor, and level of production is relatively low; farmer organizations'level is low. We analyze the main reasons for these problems. This paper presents a serial of specific measures for the adjustment of agricultural structure of Chongyang County:Based on natural resources, speed up the industrialization of agriculture, bigger and stronger advantage of special industries. to establish and improve the agricultural social service system, and provide a guarantee for the industrialization of agriculture; to accelerate agricultural standardization system and improve competitiveness of agricultural products; to develop new farmers and continuously improve the quality of workers; to increase investment and strengthen the agricultural infrastructure construction; to develop rural cooperatives to promote the industrialization of agriculture.
