The Research Of The Relationship Between The Direct Investment In The United States From China And Anti-dumping From The United States

With the rapid development of the globalization, many countries have reduced the tariff rate and trade barriers. So the anti-dumping has been put on important agenda as trade protection measures by governments. What's more, the financial crisis makes the world economic situation decline, the trade protectionism forces gain ground and the enterprises of China suffer with more and more anti-dumping accusation. The United States has launched the largest numbers of anti-dumping investigations for Chinese enterprises. Many Chinese enterprises usually choose to invest to foreign country directly to avoid trade barriers.However, Chinese enterprises still have some problems when they make direct investments.The relationship between anti-dumping accusation and foreign direct investment is ambiguous. Chinese enterprises should how to choose between export and investment when they face anti-dumping investigations.All the problems are worth studying.Firstly, this paper analyzes the feasibility that anti-dumping can lead to direct investment based on the research of theory and practice.On the theory, we use the model of price competition to elaborate its economic significance.On the practice,our country should learn from the example of Janpan how to avoid the anti-dumping from America. Secondly, this paper analyzes the situation of anti-dumping accusation from America faced by China and the investigation of invention from China's enterprises. Through the investigation, we conclude the reasons of direct investment in the United States. Then we find that the anti-dumping accusation from America makes contribution to China's direct investment of next year in the United States by the model of ARDL. On this basis, we can obtain the suggestionto avoid anti-dumping from America by foreign direct investment from several aspects, that's to say, anti-circumvention issues, the choice of investors, investment and industry.
