In december 2001 china's entry into WTO and opening of financial market, the competitive situation being more complicated. The stiff and direct competition with foreign bank is the competition of capital and specialization. With information technologies and information sharing, inevitably, the lines of commercial banks and investment banks, securities banks and insurance banks being more intangibly. It is a new challenge for our country's bank because of financial innovation, take international business model of industry, financial derivatives, financial futures, options, and interest rate agreement, asset backed securitization, a credit ratings and automatic liquidation as examples. The advantage of new products of foreign banks and leaderships in finance market, which made some small domestic bank being in the danger of out of the market, or merged by large banks in the future.State-owned commercial bank changed from government-affiliated into independent subject of market, the rapid development of State-owned commercial banks boosted the growth of china's economy. J bank is named famous and focus on the asset management of construction projects. In recent years, it stick on the ideas of structure adjustment, promote innovation, the profit of J Bank became come to the fore among the state-owned banks. Although the brand of J bank is very competitive, lagged behind foreign banks in some aspects, such as the variety of financial service, government structure, and risk management and also. It is a problem that full of research valued how to maintain higher profit level in such fury commercial market.Appraisal of bank competitiveness always as weathercock of success or failure in bank business. According to the research result of home and abroad analysis, to make assessed indexs of competitiveness based on CAMEL. Using factor analysis method to establish the evaluation model, so as to analysis the difference with competitor in aspects, e.g, the strength and asset quality, profitability and flow of power. Finally, based on out-put principle, to evaluate the quality of management abilities of this bank by DEA model, using a quantitative method to assess the differences and comprehensive competitiveness at last. Given the results to assess competition of market currently, and give advices and suggestions to help J bank meet the challenges and strengthen competitiveness power, make goals of stability and development realisable.
