Warehousing And Distribution Management Research For Material Centralized Management In The Large-scale Grid Enterprise

In recent years, grid corporations have developed rapidly, with increasingly difficult grid operation and equipment maintenance tasks and more requirements on the capability to respond to emergencies and rescue emergency. Materials, as the core assets of the corporations, play a more and more important role for the power grid construction and production. Intensive material management has changed the purchase pattern from single tender to a whole supplying chain management including planning, search for source of materials, signing contracts, warehousing and distribution. The traditional management of materials warehousing and distribution system is not suitable for the current development of business any more. It is imperative to change from traditional management to modern logistic management by setting up new warehousing and distribution network in a scientific and rational way, building a unified, standardized management system and using modern logistics technical equipment facilities.This article is based on deepening intensive materials management for large grid corporation, focusing on analysis of current materials storage and distribution management and giving new ideas for large-scale grid corporation's warehousing and distribution system, and discussion on a series of issues including "goals and principles of warehouse and distribution management in grid corporations", "key considerations in warehouse and distribution planning", "mode of warehouse management", "mode of distribution management" and "application of IT in the warehouse and distribution network".This article is based on the concept of modern logistics, logistics management, logistics network planning and distribution management, by way of comparing and research, analyze the warehouse and distribution management and network planning experience of domestic and overseas companies. It is summarized that to set up an "unified managed, collaborated, strongly supportive, fast and efficient" modern logistic management system, it needs to have two grades of materials management and three grades of logistic services as a fundamental base.Planning on warehouse network is the key process of setting up the warehouse and distribution system in large grid corporations. This article has a conclusion of three ways of classification of materials based on the principle of logistic network planning, scope of grid corporations' materials and the ABC management methodology. Considering the feature of materials in grid corporations, it suggests the way is to set up fixed material reserves,materials analysis,establishment of storage mode,selecting the warehouse,set up the management mode, to meet the requirement of grid corporations. According to demand characteristics of materials and the urgency level, it should have different distribution model. This article take North China Grid Company Limited as an example, set up a reasonable warehouse and distribution network of virtual warehouse-central warehouse-regional warehouse-turnover warehouse, specify and regulate on the bar code and encoding rules, focusing on the application of bar code technology in the materials management in grid corporations.Through systematic and scientific planning on warehouse and distribution network and efficient management, the large grid corporations can improve the efficiency significantly, to satisfy the requirement of construction, grid operation, accident repairs and emergency rescue and improve efficiency and integration of materials, information and fund, reduce the operation cost of materials and improve the competitiveness of power grid corporations.
