With the high-speed developing of national macroeconomics, and electrical power base construction appeared the development in a short time。As the basic industry, the power network has great effects on the regional economy and the social stability. The power line project have the characteristic feature of long line with more points, it is very sensitive to the influence of External Environment. The construction of the power network has been restrainted because of the factors, as the difficulty of construction entrance and the difficulty of protection areas cleaning. On the complexity of the external environment, it is the important subject to find the scheduling management tool for the construction of power line.Taking Baiyanghe power plant as an example, we analyze the features of the power line All-dimensional and multitiered at the angle of the project schedule management. On the base of analyzing to the power line features, to attempt and compare the application of the modern scheduling management methods in the power line prject. Throught of those researches, to suggest the new applications and concepts such as the logical Gantt chart of switching on/off and line parts network planning for the power line project. The logical gantt chart should be used by the owner's project department while the line parts network planning should be used by the construction project department and management project department. The linear scheduling method is led in as the supplementary means which provides a good way for a certain line part.The logical gantt chart, the line parts network planning and The linear scheduling method form systemic scheduling management tools from the macroscopic control to working procedure control, they can satisfy the need of scheduling management on different levels, different purpose and different degree.
