IP MAN is load platform of broadband and narrowband IP sevices in each district city. All IP services will be carried out in the metropolitan area network. In recent years, with the popularization and improvement of the network, user's requirement for network security is higher and for transfer rate is faster. The original network has been insufficient to meet the communication needs of business, so how to build the MAN to meet services development of different regions is of top priority to formulate the IP MAN development plan next few years.The so-called broadband MAN is in a sector between the LAN and WAN, covering the geographical area of a city, within the same region used to interconnect multiple LANs mid-range computer networks. Broadband Metropolitan Area Network refers to the urban core and surrounding areas, to communications technology, the optical fiber and coaxial cable as the transmission medium, each set of data services in one multi-function, multi-service, high-speed multimedia communications networks.Government and enterprises can meet broadband MAN, bank social security, educational institutions and other large departments high-speed, uninterrupted communication needs, especially ADSL dial-up users and EPON Fiber Direct Connect users on the network needs high-speed stability.After several expansion and transformation, the establishment of Anshan MAN is completed and network becomes more stable and reliable. With the development of broadband services and the needs of network integration, existing services provided by MAN is still single species, slow speed, low security and small-scale. low, small. How to resolve these issues is the most urgent task of MAN optimization.IP MAN optimization process, there are some technical problems, such as: BAS Fast port does not provide the second line, data services, cause the device to excessive temperature, etc., but any one technology will not be perfect continuously to overcome the shortcomings of existing technology process, that is, the process of scientific and technological progress. With the understanding of overall structure of MAN, it illustrates the role and effect of existing network devices in the whole network.From the metro convergence layer and access layer to proceed, through the network equipment, carrier services, security in-depth discussion favorable to optimize the transformation of the program MAN.
