A Study On Financial Performance Evaluation Of Seed Listed Companies

Seed listed company is a leader in seed industry, China seed industry financial performance of listed companies attracted wide attention and has a certain practical significance.This article based on annual financial reports of seed listed companies, gave a full range of financial performance evaluation on listed companies from the company's point of view. First, listed companies were evaluated in four areas of its financial performance which included profitability, operating capacity, solvency, potential for development, obtained the seed listed companies'overall performance and the average difference between seed listed companies in these four aspects;Subsequently, specific financial indicators which were influential and representative to these four areas were analyzed to reveal the performance reasons and provide recommendations for improvement; second, these four main factors were empowered with subjective weighting method to obtained seed listed companies'consolidated financial performance score and have a comprehensive understanding of seed listed companies financial performance.In this paper, theoretical research,literature search and empirical analysis of theories and methods were used. We build a set of financial performance evaluation index for listed companies in the seed industry on basis of in-depth understanding the characteristics of listed companies. And on this basis, a comprehensive evaluation of financial performance was conducted enabling the use of factor analysis and combining subjective and objective weighting methods, proposed the development strategy and operation measures, draw relevant conclusions and recommendations.This article is divided into five parts except introduction. The main contents are as follows: (1)The theory of seed industry financial performance evaluation of listed companies. These are the starting point for seed industry financial performance evaluation of listed companies. This section sets out the significance and objective necessity of financial performance evaluation in seed listed company on study of content,characteristics and theory of seed listed company, theoretically posit the future direction of development of China seed industry financial performance evaluation, also pave the way for future research.(2)Construction of Financial Performance Indicators in China seed Listed Companies.This section summarizes the status and characteistics of seed listed companies on the basis of analysising scientific research,business size, etc ,then, build a suit of financial performance evaluation ondex system though the analysis of the questionnaire.(3)Empirical Evaluation of Financial Performance in China seed Listed Companies were done. Fist, in this section the common factors from each type of factor were extrctde to analize the profits, liabilities, oprtations and potential of seed llisted companies for improving the future financial performance of seed listed companies; Then, the consolidated financial performance scorces of seed listed companies were obtained to promote the seed industry development with the use of subjective weighting methods on all the factors.(4)The conclusion and outlook of financial performance evaluation in seed listed companies were presented. The conclusion of financial performance evaluation were obtained on basis of specific analysis in the previous chaptersand outlook to be further studied in seed listed companies Innovation and features are in this study: (1)The index system of financial performance evaluation is builded with the use of questionnaire analysis and in-depth analysis of characteristics in seed listed companies.(2)A few main factors are made in the profits, liabilities, oprtations and potential of seed llisted companies which the factor analysis was used to help simplify the analysis of financial performance of listed companies.At the same time, the financial indactors were analized which effect the main factors to indentify the specific reasons for providing direction for the further improvement.(3)The comprehensive scores of financial performance evaluation were obtained which subjective weighting methods are empowered on the main factors.So the advantages of sunjective and objective are full play to help correctly evaluate the financial performance.
