The major international car manufacturers scrambled to invest in China since its reform and opening up, especially with the implementation of the commitment that China has made in WTO related to automotive industry. These companies then set up many large-scale and powerful joint-venture automobile manufacturing enterprises which account for a large amount of an annual automobile output in China's. In recent years, the national automobile has witnessed its considerable development together with their increasing proportion and influence in China's automobile industry, such as Geely, Chery, BYD who own intellectual property rights, independent brands.Under the background of the surging demand, the rapid development of China's automobile industry accompanied by the fierce competition, if the Chinese automobile manufacturing enterprises want to rank the first place in the rapidly changing competitive environment, we must attach importance to the third profit source of business——logistics, advanced agile logistics operation. Agile Logistics is the specific applications of agile manufacturing concept in the logistics field. It can respond to changing environment, balance tripartite among low cost, high efficiency and customer satisfaction and avoid unilateral pursuit of single target so as to achieve cost reduction and efficiency optimization. Agile Logistics is particularly suitable for the markets that highlight response time such as automobile manufacturing and service varied stress, uncertainty of the market.The article is based on the study about the current situation of domestic and foreign Agile Logistics in the manufacturing area, and further reviewed the theory of logistics and agile logistics, foreshadowing the full text. By comparing the Agile Logistics with Lean Logistics, Traditional Logistics and Modern Logistics to show that the Agile Logistics will be the advanced stage in modern logistics .By connecting the status and characteristics of automobile manufacturing enterprise in our country, analysis from the four aspects including supply, production, marketing, and recycling to demonstrate the supporting and inevitable role that the Agile Logistics played in automobile manufacturing enterprises. Then the paper analyzed the basic conditions that should be possessed by automobile manufacturing enterprises to implement agile logistics. And though SWOT analysis to make it clear the internal and external conditions, opportunities and threats that facing the automobile manufacturing enterprises in agile logistics implementation. The article concludes with the ideas of current development of China's automobile manufacturers Agile, analyzed five steps to put agile logistics into practice, put forward four key point on the basis of combine the status of automobile manufacturing enterprise in our country with the characteristics of Agile Logistics .I hope to provide some useful information for China's automobile manufacturers agile logistics operation.
