Evaluation Research On The Entreprenurial Environment Of Bengbu City

Thanks to the reform and opening-up policy, China's economy has witnessed 30 years of rapid development, its comprehensive national strength in the international community has been dramatically enhanced and the living standards of the people have been significantly improved. However, due to the impact of this financial crisis, there has been an unbalanced development between the domestic market and foreign market, between the eastern region and western region, and various social issues, especially the employment issue, have become more and more prominent. Therefore, how to encourage entrepreneurship and provide enterprises with a favorable development environment so as to nurture a group of small and medium-sized enterprises to promote the employment of the entire community has become a critical task for governments at all levels. In this paper, the author has researched on the entrepreneurial environment in Bengbu City with an eye on providing objective analyses and suggestions on how to improve entrepreneurial environment in Bengbu City.This article introduces the research background and significance, the research status quo both at home and abroad, as well as the theoretical basis for entrepreneurial environment. Such research approach to entrepreneurial environment developed by Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) has been adopted, namely, based on interviewing experts through the questionnaire designed by GEM and the data obtained, and the author has made an objective description of the status quo of the entrepreneurial environment in Bengbu City and an analysis called SWOT. Finally, the following seven suggestions are given:to enhance the financial system aiming at improving the financing environment for enterprises; to cultivate leading industry focusing on industrial economy to strengthen governmental guidance; to concentrate efforts on policy implementation; to spread entrepreneurship education to create an entrepreneurial environment; to reinforce coordination and raise the transformation rate of scientific research results to establish an enterprise-oriented knowledge innovation system; and to speed up the development of incubators and enhance the service functions.
