Corporate social responsibility is an important concept highlighted in many academic fields since the 20th century, as well as a common hot issue in economics, management, sociology, law and other subjects. The late 90s, the worldwide "corporate social responsibility movement" began to have a profound impact on Chinese companies and related administrations. Being an early opening industry, Chinese hotels should pay more attention to the social responsibility of a corporate citizen, in order to find the way of scientific and effective sustainable development.On the basis of reviewing existing corporate social responsibility and hotel corporate social responsibility theory, this thesis choose the stakeholders theory as the perspective and the corporate social responsibility theory as the theoretical basis of the study. By the combination of the stakeholder theory, corporate social responsibility theory and hotel industry characteristics, we analyzes the main content of the hotel stakeholders and the stakeholder-based hotel CSR. By the grounded theory method of qualitative research, we analyzes the depth interview materials from 36 senior managers of Chinese hotels in open coding, axial coding and selective coding one by one, bottom-up build a hotel corporate social responsibility theoretical model which has different levels based on different kinds of stakeholders. Finally, according to the results and the features of hotel industry, the suggestions for the further promote of Chinese hotels corporate social responsibility are given.
